Retail Affiliate Program Growth Case Study on Commission Junction
Hello everyone! Here’s a great case study we would like to share with our readers and fans. This client of ours is in the online retail business selling sunglasses and regular glasses. By using a combination of several affiliate program management techniques we have been able to increase both active affiliates and sales consistently since launching the program. This Advertiser is on the Commission Junction Affiliate Network and was launched by our company about a year ago.

Here are some of the techniques we have used to grow this clients affiliate channel:
- Recruiting targeted affiliate/publishers for our other affiliate programs
- Running frequent promotions to the affiliate base
- Rolling out fresh, exciting banner sets on a seasonal basis
- Sending targeted recruiting emails
- Working with individual affiliates on a one-on-one basis
- Providing top selling product lists to affiliates
- Providing keyword research on core terms and phrases
- Providing unique/vanity coupon codes directly to affiliates
By using these methods and effective day-to-day affiliate management, we were able to grow this client’s affiliate program steadily and with great strides. We will continue to use these techniques and others to further increase their affiliate sales into the future.
