The best part of having a blog is the fact that you can syndicate your content all over the Internet to various blog cataloging sites like Technorati. Most experts agree that “pinging” the RSS directories after each post is a must to alert them to your new content. This does a couple of things. It gets the blog posted listed on the sites you have pinged and also allows the search engines to find your new content faster than they normally would. I really love Pingoat.com. It pings the top directories as soon are you hit the bookmarked page you have setup, so it makes content creation and pinging really easy. Go ahead and give Pingoat a try…you will be glad you did.
